Avocado Toast Bar. Biscuit Bar. Pancake Bar. And introducing the most beloved of them all, our Acai Bowl Bar.
Our guests absolutely LOVE to customize their own bowls and pile the toppings as high as the sky! Plus, it’s super healthy and a fun change from the typical breakfast spreads!
You can offer as many toppings as your heart desires. To minimize prep, use fruit that doesn't need to be cut - raspberries, blackberries, bananas (just leave them out and have people spoon them into their bowls!). Strawberries are a must in the DesJardin household, so it’s a lot easier knowing that’s all I need to chop beforehand! For the other toppings, I basically empty out our pantry: coconut flakes, sliced almonds, honey, sunflower seeds, nut butters, granola, the list goes on!
Level up even further by pairing with your favorite cup of coffee, and you’ll find yourself basking in the morning glow of breakfast nirvana.
ACAI BOWL BRUNCH BAR
Acai-Blueberry Base (scale as needed, recipe below serves 2)
- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 packet of frozen acai
- ¼ cup of water
Possible Topping Combinations (perfect time to empty out your pantry!)
- 2 – 3 fresh fruit toppings (i.e. sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas)
- Nuts and seeds (i.e. sliced almonds, unsalted sunflower seeds, chia seeds)
- Sweet toppings (i.e. coconut flakes, honey, agave nectar)
- Nut butters (almond butter, peanut butter)
4. Serve immediately with coffee!
